앱이 하는 일

AI Usage Monitor for Mac은 ChatGPT Codex와 Claude Code가 내 Mac에 이미 남겨 둔 파일을 읽어, 사용 한도를 얼마나 썼는지 보여 줍니다.

읽는 것

macOS 열기 창에서 내가 직접 고른 폴더만, 읽기 전용으로 읽습니다. 그 안에서 사용률·기간·초기화 시각·요금제 이름 같은 숫자와 시각을 읽고, 최근 세션 목록을 위해 세션 ID·활동 시간·모델 이름·Codex가 저장한 짧은 표시 제목을 읽습니다. 읽는 동안 세션의 작업 폴더 경로 같은 정보가 스쳐 지나갈 수 있지만, 화면에 표시하거나 저장하지 않습니다. 프롬프트, 응답, 소스 코드, 파일 내용, 로그인 정보, 토큰, 쿠키, API 키는 읽지 않으며, 그 도구들의 파일이나 설정을 수정하지 않습니다.

전송하는 것

없습니다. 앱에는 네트워크 접근 권한이 없고(네트워크 entitlement 없음), 광고·분석·추적 도구와 제3자 SDK가 없습니다. 앱을 통해 데이터가 Mac 밖으로 나가지 않습니다.

저장하는 것과 위치

내 Mac의 앱 샌드박스 컨테이너 안에만 저장합니다: 최신 수치 캐시, 수치와 시각만 담은 사용 기록, 앱 설정, 내가 고른 폴더의 접근 권한(security-scoped bookmark). 설정 → 일반 → 사용 데이터 삭제가 캐시와 기록을 지우고, 설정 → 서비스 → 연결 해제가 폴더 권한을 잊습니다. 앱을 삭제해도 macOS가 앱의 샌드박스 컨테이너 폴더를 남겨 둘 수 있으므로, 모두 지우려면 앱을 삭제하기 전에 사용 데이터 삭제와 연결 해제를 먼저 하세요.

개발자가 수집하는 데이터

없습니다. 서버·계정·원격 측정이 없으므로 우리 쪽에는 열람·정정·내보내기·삭제할 데이터가 없습니다. 모든 것은 내 기기에 있고 내가 통제합니다.

알림

선택 사항입니다. 사용량 알림을 켜면 macOS가 권한을 묻고, 알림은 위 수치로 내 Mac에서 만들어지며 어디로도 전송되지 않습니다.

어린이

앱은 어린이를 포함한 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

변경

변경이 생기면 이 페이지와 App Store의 앱 개인정보 항목을 변경 적용 전에 먼저 고칩니다.

Privacy Policy — AI Usage Monitor for Mac

Effective from the date of the app's first public release. Developer: WEFTWARE.

Short version: the app collects nothing, sends nothing, and needs no account.

What the app does

AI Usage Monitor for Mac shows how much of your ChatGPT Codex and Claude Code usage limits you have used, using files those tools already keep on your Mac.

What it reads

Only the folders you choose in the macOS open panel, read-only. From them it reads numbers and times — percent used, window length, reset time, plan name — and, for the recent-sessions list, a session id, the time span, the model name and the short display title Codex stores. While reading, the app may pass over details such as a session's working-folder path, but it does not show or store them. It does not read your prompts, responses, source code, file contents, login information, tokens, cookies or API keys, and it never edits those tools' files or settings.

What it sends

Nothing. The app has no network access (it does not have the network entitlement) and contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party SDKs. No data leaves your Mac through the app.

What it stores, and where

On your Mac only, inside the app's sandbox container: a small cache of the latest numbers, a history file of numbers and times (no text you wrote), your settings, and the access grants (security-scoped bookmarks) for the folders you chose. Settings → General → Delete stored usage data (사용 데이터 삭제) removes the cache and history. Settings → Services → Disconnect (연결 해제) forgets a folder. After you delete the app, macOS may leave the app's sandbox container folder on disk, so to remove everything, delete the stored usage data and disconnect first, before you delete the app.

Data collected by the developer

None. There is no server, no account and no telemetry, so there is nothing to access, correct, export or delete on our side. Everything is on your device and under your control.

Notifications

Optional. If you turn on usage alerts, macOS asks for permission; alerts are generated on your Mac from the numbers above and are not sent anywhere.

Children

The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this ever changes we will update this page and the App Privacy details in the App Store before the change ships.
